Funding News, April 2007

April 2007: 123 NEW ITEMS

Welcome to GrantsNet 2.0

If you're a regular visitor to Science Careers' Funding News, you will notice a few changes from before.

First, the two main categories of programs on the Funding News are now called Research Funding and Student and Institutional Support. We feel these new labels better describe the funding programs in GrantsNet and on the Funding News.

Next, you will find many more programs than before. That's because GrantsNet has started directly importing new funding opportunities from the U.S. government's central funding portal, Grants.gov. The lists of government programs that used to go on a separate page are now presented right in the Funding News.

And to make getting to the new funding progams in GrantsNet even easier, we've introduced RSS feeds, one for each our main categories: research funding and student/institutional support.

You can read more about these changes in the recent Science Careers article, "Introducing GrantsNet 2.0" . We hope these changes make GrantsNet and the Funding News more useful to our visitors.

GrantsNet Sponsorship

Sponsorship opportunities are now available on GrantsNet and GrantsNet Express. Please contact Allison Millar for more information.

New Research Funding Programs

Welcome to the new Funding News and GrantsNet 2.0, featuring comprehensive coverage of new science opportunties from private and public-sector organizations, including RSS feeds for research funding, as well as student and institutional support.
