Protected: Group administrators must invite members to join or approve requests for new members to join. Anyone can see group content, but only members can post content.

Private: Group administrators must invite members to join or approve requests for new members to join. Only members can see or post group content. Only the group name will appear in search results or in the profiles of its members. Warning: Once made Private, it cannot be made undone.
