8-9 September 2009 at the University of Warwick
www.vitae.ac.uk/vitaeconference2009
The Vitae researcher development conference is the largest event in UK for people with a commitment to the personal, professional and career development of researchers. It has never been more important to focus on the effective development of researchers' or to ensure that researchers are able to make a valuable contribution to the wider community and economy. In 2008 over 400 professionals participated in this two-day programme of learning and practice-sharing.
The Vitae annual conference is for everyone with a strategic or practical role in the development of postgraduate researchers or research staff.
Participants at this conference will
- explore the key changes in the external context that will affect researcher development over coming years
- discuss strategic and practical responses to external changes and developments in supporting the skills and career development of research staff and postgraduate researchers
- get access to the latest policy, information and research related to this field
- share ideas and practice with a network of all those who have a stake in developing the UK’s researchers
Please check the conference website at www.vitae.ac.uk/vitaeconference2009 for more detailed information about the conference, including the full conference programme, keynote speakers, our extensive workshop programme and our online booking form.
