FUNDING YOUR RESEARCH: SOURCES, STEPS AND STRATEGIES Wednesday, 23 May 2007 3:30 p.m., with reception to follow Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center M1-A305/307 Seattle, WA 98195

As a postdoctoral fellow, having your own training grant or funded fellowship is a great start to your career as an independent researcher. Funding Your Research: Sources, Steps, and Strategies is a symposium on the basic principles of grant writing, the submission processes, and researching funding sources. Learn more about training grants and fellowships at NIH, including the K99/R00 Pathway to Independence award, and about other agencies (both federal and private) that have grants for training young investigators.

Attendance is open to postdocs and graduate students at the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

Due to the overwhelming response for this event, registration is now closed. The coordinators are currently seeking a larger venue or other ways to accommodate more attendees. Please continue to check the website for updates. We thank you for your patience.
