The program consists of lectures on inverse problems from both mathematical and biological viewpoints, and tutorials covering the more mathematical aspects of some of the lectures.
Topics covered will include embryonic development, visualization of neuronal structures, mapping neuronal function onto structure, phylogenetic analysis, minimal surfaces in nature and pattern formation.
Attendance is limited. Postdoctoral researchers, particularly biologists with an interest in mathematics, are encouraged to apply. Travel, accommodation and meals will be provided.
